RODO clause

Information on the main content of the joint controllers’ arrangements
including information on processing of personal data

Pursuant to Article 13 and Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, hereinafter referred to as ‘ RODO ’, we inform you that we jointly process your personal data and inform you of the essential content of the joint arrangements of the Joint Controllers.

Please be informed that the Joint Controllers of your personal data are:

a) Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with its seat at ul. H. Wieniawskiego 1, 61-712 Poznań,
b) Poznań University of Life Sciences with its seat at Wojska Polskiego 28, 60-637 Poznań

UAM is the controller of personal data of the participants of the Jubilee Conference together with the LII. Congress of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta in Poland to the extent resulting from registration for the event and its organisation. UPP is the controller of personal data of the participants of the Jubilee Conference together with the LII. Congress of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta in Poland to the extent resulting from financial settlements and the organisation of the event.

2. Data Protection Officers

Each of the Joint Controllers has appointed a Data Protection Officer whom you may contact regarding the protection of your data and the exercise of your rights.

3. Aims and basis of processing

Your personal data will be processed for the organisation, realisation and settlement of the Jubilee Conference on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Botanical Garden of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the Dendrological Garden of Poznań University of Life Sciences together with the LII. Convention of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta in Poland ‘The future of botanical gardens: adaptation and education in the face of climate change’ – on the basis of Article 6(1)(b), (c), (f) of the RODO.

4. Recipients of data

Your personal data may be made available to providers of essential services to the Joint Administrators, on the basis of the relevant contracts and to entities authorised under applicable laws.

5. Data retention period

Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the Jubilee Conference and, after its completion, for the time necessary to fulfil the obligations related to its settlement.

6. Your rights

(a) the right of access to your personal data – to the extent indicated in Article 15 RODO;

(b) the right to rectify your personal data – in accordance with Article 16 of the RODO;

(c) the right to erasure of your personal data – to the extent indicated in Article 17 RODO;

(d) the right to restrict the processing of your personal data in the cases indicated in Article 18 RODO;

(e) the right to object to the processing of your personal data in the cases set out in Article 21 of the RODO;

(f) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Submission of data

Your submission of data is mandatory, failure to provide personal data will prevent you from participating in the Conference.
